Saddlebrook Cottage’s stylish décor is contemporary with original artworks that contribute to a relaxed, homely environment.  There is a large sitting/dining room with a charming, log-burning fire place for the chilly winter months while the cottage is fully airconditioned for the warm summers.

The bedroom has a king-size bed with a en-suite dressing room and a marble bathroom, complete with a shower, a free-standing bath, double vanities and under floor heating. There is also a safe deposit box and a hairdryer.

The kitchen is deserving of a 5 star self-catering accommodation and includes a washing machine. Double doors from the sitting room open out to a large patio with pool and gas braai.  There are sun loungers, a couch and easy chairs  as well as a small dining table under the shaded cover of the patio which looks onto a landscaped garden.  The cottage offers secure parking for at least two cars.

Free WIFI is available, and there are TVs in the lounge and bedroom, offering a full bouquet of DSTV channels and Netflix. There is also a DVD player with an extensive range of DVDs and boardgames. A generator on the main property ensures an uninterrupted electricity supply.  The cottage can be serviced daily depending on your requirements and is included in the price. Laundry can be arranged as an extra.

Saddlebrook Cottage is just a few minutes drive or a short walk (1.5 km) from the hustle and bustle of the vibrant village of Franschhoek.  There you will find award winning restaurants, galleries, speciality shops and a meeting place for Franschhoek’s famous hop-on, hop-off wine tram. You are also within walking distance of wine and champagne farms.

Check in time is 2pm and check out is 11am on day of departure.  We regret that we cannot allow any animals at the cottage.
